Marcus Rashford scored a stunning free-kick for Man United in their 1-2 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The England forward scored from the spot in the first half before Belgium striker Michy Batshuari equalized for Chelsea with a sensational solo strike after half-time.
Rashford then struck a wonderful winner in the late stages to send Man United to the last eight of the Carabao Cup, earning a third consecutive away win in a week for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
Hence, Chelsea's winning streak came to a halt as Frank Lampard fail to revenge is 0-4 loss away at Old Trafford at the start of the season in the Premier League.
After the match, a delighted Rashford told the press how impressed he is with the progress of Man United after three wins in a row.
“We’ve been in a tough place. We’re still getting through that phase,” Rashford told the press.
“The only way to get through it is to fight through it and win because they’re the things which keep everyone happy. When you’ve won, you wake up with a good feeling. The main focus was improvement and development.
“We’re definitely going places, from pre-season we did a lot of good work. The start of the season wasn’t what we expected but we’ve got to get through it.”
