Liverpool have a goalkeeping problem as Adrian is a doubt for the match away at Southampton after he picked up a weird ankle injury during the super cup victory over Chelsea.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed the former west ham goalkeeper was injured when a pitch invader fell on his ankle during the super cup win celebrations in Istanbul.

Either Andy Lonergan or Caoimhin are the options the reds have as a replacement for the injured Spaniard, with number one goalkeeper Alisson already sidelined for a few weeks due to a calf problem.

Naby Keita is also out of the visit to Southampton.
