Team news

Frank Lampard is monitoring Andreas Christensen's fitness after the Chelsea defender limped off during the UEFA super cup loss to Liverpool as they prepare for the match against Leicester.

Willian and Antonio Rudiger are available for selection after recovering from knee injuries.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James are still out.

New signing Dennis Praet is set to make his debut for Leicester City.

Filip Benkovic is still out with an ankle injury, the only injury concern for Brendan Rodgers.

@Komptrolla's Prediction and betting tip

Chelsea can look at their performance at the Super Cup against Liverpool and forget whatever it was that happened against Manchester United.

Grit, decision and precision were the hallmarks of their Wednesday night performance and you wonder where those were against the Red Devils, look no further, the factor remains Ngolo Kante, that ultimately means they have to keep him fit and available for every game... That’s quite risky.

Leicester City fired blank on day one against Wolves at the King Power Stadium and for the quality in the Wolves team, it wasn’t a bad result.

The Foxes now have to follow that up with a decent performance against the Blues at Stamford Bridge, it’s tricky considering the fact they have no idea which Chelsea side would show up.

Verdict: Both teams to score

Player to watch: Jamie Vardy
