Manchester United are not in great shape, to be honest, any good side will ruffle their wet feathers.
Against Leicester, United had moments of brilliance but not all was pretty for the Red Devils, the win came with lots of moments of uncertainties, they struggled to string successful passes together, in the end, it was down to grit and scrambles, if Leicester had few more minutes, would United have ran away with the win?
Brighton and Hove were the victims of Watford last weekend, not for the lack of efforts, they tried but the Hornets wanted it more and took their chances when it mattered.
The Amex will feel the heat, the version of Paul Pogba that would be seen is left to be decided by the lanky world cup winner, but if he shows the same intensity he did at Old Trafford on opening day, alongside Fred, then Brighton will need lots of energy and discipline to shore up spaces.
On the Side of the Seagulls, Pascal Gross has work to do, the team doesn’t have that balance yet, they will endure a difficult afternoon.
Betting Prediction: Manchester United to win
Team news
Experienced right-back Bruno joins Florin Andone on the sidelines after he was forced off at Vicarage Road through injury.
Jose Mourinho could start Romelu Lukaku after playing him on the bench in the last game.
Antonio Valencia, Jesse Lingard, and Nemanja Matic have all resumed training but still not match fit.
Paul Pogba will continue as captain because Valencia is ruled out.
