The Spanish giants confirmed this on their official website, the 33-year old star player will be moving to Serie A giants for a fee of €100m on a four-year contract and he will earn an annual salary of around €30m. Tax laws in Italy state that clubs have to pay the same amount in tax, which makes the total fee for the transfer to €340m (€100m transfer fee plus €240m in salary and taxes).
Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Bernabeu from Manchester United nine years ago on a World record fee of £80m, he has scored a club-record 451 goals, won the Ballon D'Or (World's best footballer) five times during his time in Madrid.
He has also helped Los Blancos to win the Uefa Champions League in four of the past five years, scoring in the 2014 and 2017 finals.
Despite their European dominance Real Madrid are working on restructuring their team under new coach Julen Lopetegui, reports suggest that they are interested in signing PSG star Neymar.
