Eden Hazard is enjoying his new role as a No.10, the Belgian forward scored twice in another brilliant performance as Chelsea beat Newcastle 3-1 at Stamford bridge.

Chelsea are currently leveled on point with Manchester United on the Premier League table.

Hazard was rested by Conte for their midweek match, the move paid off as the Premier League player of the year looked fresh and sharp.

Chelsea went behind to a Dwight Gayle goal in the 18th minute, Hazard leveled for the blues with a fine finish before Alvaro Morata made it 2-1 when he headed a Victor Moses delivery from close range.

Victor Moses who was just getting back from a long injury lay off won a penalty for Chelse after Matt Ritchie fouled the Nigerian winger, Hazard picked up the ball and calmly scored the resulting penalty.


The win moved Chelsea to eight points behind leaders Man City, the current leaders are still unbeaten this season.

With Nine shots, 6 on target and 2 goals, Antonio Conte can't do without Hazard, the Italian manager must keep his star man fit if Chelsea are looking to continue chasing Manchester City.
