Will Antonio Conte find a solution to Chelsea's selection problem tomorrow? (Video)

Chelsea will face Watford in few hours in a crucial Premier League match, crucial? Yes, it is crucial as the champions are looking to get back to winning ways after back to back losses to Pep Guardiola's high flying city and struggling Crystal palace in their last two Premier League games.

Watford are flying high under Marco Silva, they beat Arsenal 2-1 last weekend with a injury time goal by former Man Utd midfielder Tom Cleverly. The Hornets are looking good for European football next season.

The Premier League champions are under immense pressure to get their season back on track, their Italian manager keeps complaining about the amount of matches they have to play this season with a "thin" squad, which does not go down well with some of their fans. Though, some fans put the blame on the owner and the Chelsea board for their poor transfer dealings last summer.

During the pre-match presser earlier today, the Chelsea boss also revealed that his squad are working up to  70% less on the tactical and physical aspect due to the calendar.

"I have my methods,” Conte said in response to reports that the Chelsea squad were wearied by their current training schedules. “They're the same as last season when we won the league.

“Honestly, I think we are working maybe 70 per cent less this season. Maybe for this reason we are having trouble. On tactical and physical aspects, [it’s] less.

“When you play every three days it's impossible to work above all on the physical aspects. On the tactical aspects, you have to work less and pay less attention on every detail. We are doing this.

“I think that when you have to play four competitions, this is the path you must follow. But it's normal. The problem is to play every game with the same players. That's a big problem.”

Conte will have no excuse tomorrow, it's 3 points or nothing. He will have to figure out who plays in the middle as Bakayoko and Luiz are doubtful while Kante is still out and Drinkwater is far from fitness. This leaves Cesc Fabregas as the only fully fit senior midfield player. There are some selection headache for the Italian gaffer, hopefully he will find a solution tomorrow.
