Arsenal won the international break trophy!
    `
The international break came to an end last night and it is only right for us to review the successes of our beloved EPL players.

Oh well, I am not sure what we are doing here... Let us call it 'bants'?

Just before the international break Arsenal thrashed Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United 3-0 putting the Gooners in a good situation in the EPL as they hope to challenge for the title this season. Yeah, they look it!

So, the EPL is back this weekend but which club players had more success during this international break... Arsenal!

Arsenal players had fantastic outings for their National teams and none of the Gooner players will be returning to the Emirates injured which is unusual.

Alexis Sanchez undoubtedly was the best of the bunch with a goal against Brazil and two more goals plus an assist for the South American champions in their 3-4 win at Peru.

German attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil was brilliant for the world champions, claiming two assists with some beautiful play.

Watch Ozil's brilliant chip pass to Marco Reus who failed to convert. This is some godly pass by the Arsenal star.

Aaron Ramsey also helped his Wales side to qualify for their first major tournament in a while scoring in their last match against Andorra.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chuba Akpom, Serge Gnabry and Joel Campbell were also on the scoresheet for their countries.

Oliver Giroud scored a brace for France against Denmark and Theo Walcott was also on hand to score a fine goal made by Everton's Barkley in their match versus Estonia.

Watch the official video of Giroud's two goals vs Denmark below:

Petr Cech was in goal for Czech Republic as they beat Holland 2-3 in Amsterdam and to the joy of Arsenal fans Robin Van Persie scored a weird own goal in the game.

Czech qualified for the Euro tournament while the Dutch will not be participating, they could not make the play-off.

From RVP, we move to another former Arsenal midfielder who they tagged a traitor "Cesc Fabregas" who won his 100th cap for Spain but he missed a penalty in their last match of the campaign.

And there were injuries for rival team players like Sergio Aguero and David Silva for Manchester City, Brasilav Ivanovic and Matic for Chelsea, Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney for Manchester United.

I guess you will have to agree with us the international break was a success for the gooners!

Bants aside, this could help the form and believe of the Arsenal players to continue the season with brilliant displays as we saw in the match against Manchester United.

Congrats Arsenal fans on your new title...
