Watch! Cristiano Ronaldo nets 5 goals in Espanyol 0-6 Real Madrid [Individual Highlights]

Cristiano Ronaldo started his scoring duty for Real Madrid on Saturday as he scored five goals against Espanyol for the second time in La Liga after an initial five against Granada last April.

The Portuguese moved ahead of Raul in Real Madrid’s all-time La Liga top scorer with him sitting on 230 goals ahead of Raul’s 228. Ronaldo also matched Messi’s record of a total of 32 hat-tricks and moved fourth on the list of La Liga leading goal scorers behind Messi (285), Zarra (251) and Hugo Sanchez (234).

Cristiano Ronaldo will definitely have only Lionel Messi to beat to this record if he won’t stop scoring.

However, Ronaldo will have his eyes set on the next record by beating Raul Gonzalez to Real Madrid’s all-time highest goal scorer with him been five goals behind the former Spanish international.

With 318 in all competitions for Real Madrid, Ronaldo will look to meet Raul’s record of 323 in the next few weeks. It’s only a matter of time though; he’s simply a legend and there is no doubt about it.
