Radamel Falcao is happy to start training with his new Chelsea teammates [Pictures]

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao had his first training session with his new Chelsea teammates on thursday.

The summer loan-signing, plus his compatriot Juan Cuadrado and fellow participant in the Copa America last month, Willian flew into New York in time to watch Chelsea’s match against the New York Red bulls and even took part in some light training on the pitch.

Radamel Falcao on thursday afternoon tweeted: “Happy to join the team and start working with my new teammates at Chelsea”.



The 29-year old had a disappointing Copa America and was dropped from the first XI by Jose Pekerman despite being the captain of the team.

Jose Mourinho is confident that the former Manchester United loanee will get back to form and score goals.



‘Falcao comes to us with motivation,’ said Jose Mourinho earlier in the tour.
