"Chelsea want to keep Victor Moses" - Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes says Stoke City may struggle to take Super Eagles forward Victor Moses back as Jose Mourinho is interested in keeping him at Chelsea for next season.

He joined Chelsea from Wigan in 2012 and has been sent on loan at Liverpool and Stoke during the two years Mourinho has been back to Stamford Bridge.

Stoke are interested to re-sign the Nigeria international but Hughes said he expects the 24-year old winger to remain at Chelsea unless Jose Mourinho sign new players in his position.

"I think Chelsea have a view on Victor," Hughes said. "What they're thinking, we believe, is that they would possibly like to keep him. If they go into the market again that could change that idea.

"Victor obviously came to us last year and did exceptionally well for us. There were a couple of injuries that hampered him unfortunately but he showed enough in his time with us that it made Chelsea very aware of the talent they have and what Victor could offer.

"It could be that Victor now plays a part at Chelsea."

Chelsea are reportedly interested in sigining Barcelona's Pedro.
