Spain’s Final 23-man World Cup squad: Torres included while Man City's Negredo misses out

Vincente Del Bosque named Spain's World Cup squad yesterday and there were surprises as expected.

Diego Costa who had been a doubt made the final list, but Manchester city's Negredo and Juventus' Fernando Llorente failed to make the squad.

The surprise inclusion was Fernando Torres ahead of Negredo.

Defenders: César Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Gerard Piqué y Jordi Alba (Barcelona), Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Javi Martínez (Bayern Múnich), Raúl Albiol (Nápoles), Juanfran Torres (At.Madrid)
