Babatunde Michael has undergone surgery and will most likely miss the rest of the World cup after Ogenyi Onazi's shot broke his arm during the 3-2 loss to Argentina
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Aminu Maigari told AfricanFootball.com the Ukraine-based player has already undergone surgery in Porto Alegre.
"He has undergone operation already and we are positive he would be fine" Maigari told AfricanFootball.com
“"It’s a very sad news for the team."
He has brought a lot of energy to the Eagles midfield after he was picked ahead of Chelsea winger Victor Moses.
