The last of our simultaneous fixtures is between Westham and Bournemouth in Westham’s new stadium.

Westham were well destroyed by Liverpool on the opening day, nothing to feel bad about, so many teams will feel the same way from Liverpool this season, they are way too deadly so it’s fine.

Bournemouth got out of jail, Cardiff weren’t so strong, had the new boys scored after Callum Wilson missed from the spot, it would have been another same of the old stories but same Wilson found space in the box and fired home to seal the win.

West Ham weren’t totally bad against Liverpool, they fought, Felipe Anderson was lively all day long but the whole team just succumbed to a better side, now they have their chance to shine against a fast-paced Bournemouth side, things must sure be different.

Man for man, it should tilt towards the London club, manager for manager, it’s experience vs youthfulness, in the end, it would be down to who wants it more.

Verdict: Westham to win

Team news

Former Arsenal striker Lucas Perez and Colombian midfielder Carlos Sanchez are available for selection and Pellegrini could give both of them their debuts at the Olympic stadium.

Andy Carroll, Winston Reid, and Manuel Lanzini are still ruled out.

Club record signing Jerfferson Lerma could play his first game for Bournemouth while another new signing Diego Rico is suspended because he was sent off in the last day in La Liga last season.

Junior Stanislas is still ruled out.
