Real Madrid announce Julen Lopetegui as their new manager

Real Madrid announce Spain National team coach Julen Lopetegui as their new manager. 

The former Porto coach will take over from Zinedine Zidane who resigned last month after he won his third consecutive Champions League title.

This was unexpected as it is just a few days to World Cup kick-off as it has thrown La Roja's World Cup preparations into chaos.

Julen Lopetegui will resume his duties as Real Madrid's coach after the Russia 2018 World Cup.
