Whew! The international break is over, and we can once again bask in the euphoria of the English Premier League. We're so back!

The international break served us some excellent football. We won't pretend we weren't amazed by the sweet entertainment offered by France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, and the Harry Kane-inspired England.

There was the Manchester City story that enveloped everyone. Will the Cityzens be thrown out of the league? We also saw the Cristiano Ronaldo saga and his explanations, and we also saw the final bow of Lionel Messi for Argentina. It was an eventful break.

Back to what matters, it is the return of Premier League football. Arsenal hosts Leeds United at the Emirates, and the Gunners will hope to have another great showing against the Whites. It was a 9-0 aggregate home and away last season; can Arsenal do it again?

Leeds United isn't the same anymore. Daniel Farke's side currently sits just three points off the Gunners on the log; any form of win for the visitors at the Emirates moves them above Arsenal on the log. That hasn't happened in 30 years.

Arsenal went into the international break with gloom hanging over the Emirates after their comprehensive defeat at Brighton. The Seagulls clinically dispatched the Gunners 3-0 at the Amex; Arsenal must respond here.

Kai Havertz and Christos Tzolis got injured during the break. There's growing belief among the fans that Ezri Konsa will be available to play against Leeds after missing England's last game due to injury. Piero Hincapie, Christian Mosquera, and Ben White are all available for selection.

What has helped Leeds United so far? Favorable fixtures is one thing; being prepared to take advantage is another. Leeds have been compact in defense, and they have scored well at the other end. Can they break down the Gunners?

Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are the attackers Arsenal must be wary of. But the midfield battle will also be key. Whoever Daniel Farke calls on must go through Arsenal's packed midfield to shine. It will be tough, but they can learn from Brighton.

Declan Rice is well rested. Viktor Gyokeres was the star of the international break, and Bukayo Saka will hope to reignite his spark against a team he scored against last season. Arsenal must win this one if they don't want to slip far away from Manchester City.

Verdict: Arsenal to win.
