There's still a small matter of Brentford hosting Wolves on Monday night, but we've seen enough to know where some teams will end up at the end of May.

The title race continues to tilt towards the Gunners. Mikel Arteta's men got the job done at the Emirates on Saturday, albeit belatedly. Max Dowman became the youngest ever Premier League goal scorer, and that itself is worthy of headlines.

The 16-year-old took the game by the scruff of the neck, creating the chance for the opener before racing through off an Everton corner kick to tap in his first goal in an Arsenal shirt. What a way to do it.

Manchester City saw Arsenal move ten points clear at the top and needed to close the gap back to seven points. With a game in hand and both teams squaring up at the Etihad next month, it would have been within City's grasp, but West Ham had other ideas.

Manchester City appeared to have lost what makes them one of the toughest sides to face in world football. They had an eye on the midweek game against Real Madrid, but beating West Ham was also a priority.

The 1-1 result has now taken things out of their hands. The Citizens now need Arsenal to drop points at least twice. This must include the big one at the Etihad next month, where an Arsenal win could already mean a confirmed title procession.

For the top-five race, Manchester United looks like the team to take the third spot. The Red Devils clinically dispatched Aston Villa on Sunday to usurp Unai Emery's team. Villa is not in danger of missing out on the top five completely.

Chelsea lost to Newcastle on Saturday, but the Blues weren't punished by Liverpool, who lost their home advantage to Tottenham. Not many expected Spurs to pick anything from Anfield; Liverpool's failure to close out the game came back to haunt them at the death as Richarlison bundled home from close range.

Spurs' point at Anfield implies that they now sit above the relegation zone by one point. Spurs have it all to do to avoid the drop; however, they can springboard from the point at Anfield.

Speaking of avoiding the drop, Wolves and Burnley are destined for the Championship next season. Nottingham Forest, West Ham, and Tottenham look like the teams to fight it out, with Leeds United keeping an eye on the show from outside.
