The transfer window will wind down at the end of this month; this means we expect things to happen quickly for some players. However, who are those five players with unresolved futures? Here you go!

Chelsea keen on Simons, Garnacho

World Champions Chelsea has made it clear that the deal for Alejandro Garnacho is not dependent on Xavi Simons, as they want to pursue the two targets separately.

While being close to an agreement with RB Leipzig for the Dutch playmaker, the Blues are happy to wait till later in the window for Manchester United’s Garnacho, with the Red Devils likely to demand a little more than the Blues would like to pay at this stage. Chelsea wants the two players.

Newcastle and United to fight dirty over Sesko

Newcastle United submitted a bid of €75m for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, and while waiting to hear the verdict from the German side, the Slovenian has been told by Manchester United to expect a bid.

United wants to close personal terms with the player before approaching Leipzig, and what we can confirm is that a bidding war is going down for the striker whom the club is prepared to sell to the highest bidder. This would be fun.

Brentford launches audacious Trossard interests.

Brentford has asked for the conditions to sign Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard, with the Belgian open to a move as he seeks regular playing time.

The Gunners are in the market for a new winger, which could be Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, and with Gabriel Martinelli ahead of the Belgian, it’s clear that a new arrival would throw Trossard further down the pecking order. Let’s see how this develops.

City to reignite Paqueta interests

Manchester City has opened talks for Lucas Paqueta, and the door could be open for the Brazilian to make his move from West Ham to the Etihad.

The former champions were interested in the playmaker a year ago, but talks broke down after the Brazilian was arrested for betting-related issues. But after being cleared last week, the Cityzens are now back for Paqueta, who would be quite interested in the move.

AC Milan rivals Al Hila for Nunez.

Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez is now being courted by AC Milan and could be the destination of the Liverpool man if the Italians edge out Saudi side Al Hilal.

Nunez is open to a move away from Liverpool. With the Premier League champions chasing Alexander Isak, the Reds have opened the door for Nunez to leave but only to a club that meets their valuation of him. Will Milan win the race?
