Another day, another transfer news update! We take a look at buzzing headlines across the ongoing transfer window. Here you go!

Tottenham set to lose Son?

MLS side LAFC is negotiating with Tottenham star Heung Min Son, and a deal is on the cards as the American side seeks to replace Olivier Giroud, who left the club a few weeks ago.

Son feels fulfilled after winning the Europa League with Tottenham under the departed Ange Postecoglou; however, it will take some negotiations with Daniel Levy to see the South Korean depart North London for the MLS. Keep an eye on this one.

Chelsea agrees to personal terms with Hato.

Highly rated Dutch defender Jarrel Hato has agreed to personal terms with Chelsea following an impressive season with Ajax and huge hype around his stock.

Manchester United were advanced in conversations with Hato’s camp, but when Chelsea came into the mix, the Dutchman decided against Old Trafford and will sign for the Blues if Enzo Maresca’s side finds a breakthrough with Ajax over the €40m asking price.

Flamengo hijacks Emerson Royal deal from Besiktas.

After agreeing on terms with Besiktas for a loan with an obligation to buy for €10m, Emerson Royal could well be out of AC Milan but not to Besiktas, as Brazilian side Flamengo has hijacked the deal.

It’s the second time in a few days that a deal for a Turkish side has fallen by the wayside after Saul made a U-turn on Fenerbahce to join Flamengo. AC Milan is ready to part ways with Emerson Royal, but his destination will now be Brazil.

Ashley Young signs for Ipswich.

Former Aston Villa and Manchester United winger Ashley Young has signed for Championship side Ipswich Town on a one-year deal after his contract expired at Everton.

At 40 years old, Ashley Young is defying age to continue at the top with the Tractor Boys, hoping for a swift bounce after suffering relegation last season. The former Inter Milan player is expected to bring a wealth of experience to help Ipswich to navigate life back in the second tier.

Calhanoglou makes a U-turn and decides to stay at Inter.

Following a tumultuous participation at the Club World Cup and the subsequent comments from the club president and captain, Hakan Calhanoglou has now reversed his decision to leave Inter Milan.

Lautaro Martinez had criticised the Turkish star for his lack of commitment, and after talking to Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, Calhanoglou has said his decision is to stay with the former champions and help them win more titles.
