The transfer window is where the buzz is, with clubs trying to finalize deals. What news interests us this morning?

Atalanta insists on €50m for Lookman.

Inter Milan submitted a bid of €45m, including add-ons, for Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, but Atalanta is holding on for €50m to release the player.

The reigning African Footballer of the Year and his camp have informed the club that he wishes to leave this summer, and everyone expects this move to materialize; will Inter Milan increase their bid for the Nigerian?

Newcastle agrees to fee for Ramsdale.

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has now been granted permission to undergo a medical at Newcastle after the Magpies agreed on terms with Southampton.

News broke out on Tuesday that Newcastle wants the England keeper, and things have now moved swiftly, with Newcastle paying a hefty loan fee and covering all of Ramsdale's salary. It will be interesting to see who starts in goal when the league resumes.

City tells Ortega to look elsewhere.

Steffan Ortega has been told to look elsewhere this summer after the return of James Trafford to the club.

Manchester City re-signed Trafford from Burnley for a fee of £27m, and this means one of Ortega and Ederson would have to move. The Brazilian goalkeeper who is the current number one is still talking to Fenerbahce; we keep an eye on that one.

Juventus goes hard for Kolo Mouani.

Juventus remains the front-runner for French striker Randal Kolo Muani, who spent last season on loan with the Old Lady from PSG.

There are concrete interests in the French striker from England, with Manchester United seeking his signature, but Juventus is open to a permanent signing or a loan with an obligation to buy. It's another one to watch.

United rests the Jackson pursuit.

Sources close to Manchester United can confirm that the club has been priced out of the Nicolas Jackson chase and will now focus on other targets.

The Red Devils have pencilled down Ollie Watkins and former Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko as their options as they seek a potent strike force for next season. Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee are expected to stay, but the club wants to add one more striker.
