Liverpool has started as best as they could ever have imagined; life under their new manager has seen them win all three games without conceding a single goal; who would have thought?

Arne Slot lost the manager of the month award to Fabian Hurzelar, but he wouldn’t mind as his team sits neck-to-neck with the current champions. The Kops are flying, and it will take more than luck for Forest to earn a point from this one.

Let’s talk about Forest, shall we? They narrowly avoided relegation last season; their approach to summer transfer deals remains unchanged, and they appear to be flirting with relegation once more this season.

Forest is yet to lose a game this season; this is a huge positive after they forced Bournemouth to a 1-1 draw on the opening day, went to St. Mary’s Stadium, and returned with maximum points before settling for a 1-1 draw at the weekend before the break.

Is there a chance that the visitors could earn something from this game? Danilo and Willy Boly's injuries mean a new boy will be born. Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo at centre back—do they have enough to stop Liverpool’s front three?

Speaking of Liverpool, how will they approach this? They will keep things simple; Diogo Jota will lead the line while Mohammed Salah and Luis Diaz will continue on the flanks. The Egyptian has scored and assisted in every game this season; he’s playing at a scary level these days.

You may be wondering how they selected the Balon d'Or nominees, but Salah was noticeably absent. The Egyptian hasn't had a conversation about a new contract, and he was vocal following the victory over United. Could this be his final season at Liverpool?

Forest will rely on speed to inflict damage on Liverpool through counterattacks. The trio of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Anthony Elanga will trouble anyone on break; Virgil Van Dijk and Ibrahim Konate must be wary of these boys.

Trent Alexander Arnold, on the other hand, is playing his best football once more, which could force the fleet-footed Forest lads to defend. If Nuno Espirito Santo has a huge one on his hands if he wants to stay unbeaten after this game.

Forest will pick bookings as they struggle to cope with the trickery of Liverpool. Ryan Gravenberch will be immense in the middle, but watch out for Salah again; he’s always a monster whenever he’s in front of the kops.

Verdict: Liverpool to win.
