The European championship is over, with winners happily on holiday and losers needing therapy to believe again. For us, it’s time to concentrate on the buzzing transfer window with players jumping ship. Let’s look at a few hot topics in the transfer market.

Leny Yoro joins Manchester United.

Manchester United fans must be excited about the magic of the INEOS Group, who have shown signs of greatness since joining the club on a 25% stake.

Following Joshua Zirkzee's announcement last week, Manchester United announced the signing of Leny Yoro, an 18-year-old who drew interest from PSG and Real Madrid. After completing his medical, he will join the team for the upcoming season.

Ivan Rakitic returns to Croatia.

The transfer window dishes out different forms of shockers from time to time, and hearing of Ivan Rakitic’s return to Croatia shouldn’t surprise a lot of people, but if you remember he was playing with Lionel Messi a few seasons ago, you’d ask questions.

Rakitic has joined Hajduk Split in Croatia despite having a fantastic year at Al Shabab in the Saudi Professional League. He joins Kalinic, who is the club director; Ivan Perisic as a teammate; and Gennaro Gattuso, who is the head coach.

Barcelona steps up Nico Williams's chase.

Atletico Bilbao winger Nico Williams is on the verge of joining Barcelona after a successful face-to-face conversation between the player’s entourage and the La Liga giants.

The Spaniard was instrumental in Spain’s Euro triumph, and his chemistry with Lamine Yamal speaks volumes. The winger is now expected to complete a move to Barcelona in the coming days, with the two clubs now actively discussing it.

Marco Reus will sign with the LA Galaxy.

Marco Reus, a former German international, has agreed to join LA Galaxy of the Major League Soccer in the upcoming days.

The former Borussia Dortmund winger led the club to the UEFA Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid, and has been a cult hero in Dortmund for over a decade. His next chapter is in Hollywood, and he can’t wait to experience the new life.

Luka Modric extends his contract with Real Madrid.

One of the oldest players to ever line up for the Los Blancos, Luka Modric, has extended his contract with reigning Champions League holders Real Madrid by another year.

After losing Toni Kroos to retirement, Real Madrid has announced that new club captain Luka Modric will spend the next season as a player in what many believe will be his last as a professional footballer. While Modric believes he can still make the 2026 World Cup, his club career might well be winding down.
