Manchester United is doing big things in the transfer window, preparing to have a better season. Let’s look at a few buzzing deals.

Hammers plot huge Kante coup

Strange as it may sound, Julien Lopetegui is cooking something delicious at the London Stadium, while West Ham is pushing for the arrival of N'Golo Kante from Al Ittihad.

The Saudi club has no intention of selling, but Kante doesn’t mind the prospect of returning to Europe as he eyes a possible spot in Le Bleus’ 2026 World Cup squad. If the Hammers pull this off, it's a brave move and one to watch out for.

Manchester United agrees terms with Manuel Ugarte.

After Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, Manchester United has agreed to a long-term deal with Uruguayan international Manuel Ugarte, with the player excited about the move.

PSG wants Joao Neves from Benfica; the Portuguese midfielder will be expensive, but PSG won’t mind if they can free up space for his arrival. To make Ugarte happen, United also needs to usher out Scott McTominay and Casemiro.

Schmeichel signs for Celtic.

Kasper Schmeichel, a former Leicester City goalkeeper, has signed for Celtic of Scotland after his contract at OGC Nice expired.

The Dane was instrumental in Leicester’s shock title win in 2016. He left for France with the Foxes in crisis, and he has now agreed to a move to Celtic. An official announcement is imminent: the 37-year-old signs an initial one-year deal with an option for another.

Kiwior to soften the Calafiori deal?

Arsenal’s move for Riccardo Calafiori is now dependent on the destination of Polish defender Jacob Kiwior, who was a part of Arsenal’s success last season.

Bologna requested Kiwior during their meeting with the Arsenal contingent, and with a sell-on clause in Calafiori's contract pending, the Gunners could potentially acquire their Italian player if they can send Kiwior to Bologna on loan with a buy-back obligation.

Manchester City confirms Savio's signing.

Reigning champions Manchester City have unveiled the latest addition to their squad, Savio, from Troyes for a fee of £21 million.

Last season, Savio enjoyed a successful season at Girona as part of the City Group. Pep Guardiola will have more options with this mercurial attacking talent. His deal is set to increase to £33.6 million if certain metrics are met.
