Despite what can be described as a better-forgotten season, Chelsea FC has continually demonstrated its drive and tenacity to compete at the highest level as one of the most prosperous football clubs in recent years.

The London-based club has been proactive in the transfer market, making calculated moves to strengthen their squad and also trim the squad as they seek to return to winning days and bring back the energy that saw them landing nineteen trophies in twenty years.

Strengthening the defense that has an aging Tiago Silva and two other veterans, Khalidou Koulibaly and Cesar Azpilicueta leaving for Saudi Arabia and Inter Milan respectively, Chelsea has prioritized bolstering its backline in its transfer negotiations.

Realising the value of a strong defensive base.

The recruitment of a seasoned defensive veteran will strengthen their defensive unit, and the acquisition of a world-class center-back has to be a primary priority.

The new player must add talent, leadership, and experience to the group, giving an already strong defense more depth and stability. Chelsea has to also prioritize strengthening their midfield in their transfer negotiations.

The team must hire excellent midfielders with a range of skills in an effort to improve their tactical flexibility, creativity, and ball control. These signings must provide the club with more depth, enabling tactical adaptability and the freedom to rotate important players without sacrificing performance.

In attack, after a blunt season where Chelsea had to depend on the departed Kai Havertz for goals, the club must cleverly make moves to increase their attacking firepower, building on an already strong attacking young group.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea's frontline could boast of goal-scoring prowess and a clinical edge if they add a prolific striker, Villareal's Jackson that is about to join could provide that. Chelsea now has a multifaceted and effective offensive force thanks to this addition, which rounds out the available attacking options.

Chelsea must strengthen their roster across the board if they want to compete next season. there's no champions league football or any European football distraction, the Blues can focus on domestic football and edge the busy ones out.
