The January transfer window has come to an end and Chelsea would feel they won with the final piece, Enzo Fernandes joining late in the night to ease the agitations of the fans that saw Jorginho depart for Arsenal earlier in the day.

Still on Chelsea, one can’t tell what will happen to Hakim Ziyech as the World Cup semifinalist couldn’t get his move to PSG.

Though it was confirmed that the two clubs were granted an extension to see the deal over the line.

Arsenal’s move for Jorginho adds to the long list of players that have crossed the line between North and West London with Cesc Fabregas, Olivier Giroud, Peter Cech, and Ashley Cole top on the list, not leaving out the Brazilian duo of David Luiz and Willian.

Elsewhere in England, Manchester United completed a loan move for Bayern’s Marcel Sabitzer with a need to bring in reinforcement for the injured Christian Eriksen.

The Austrian joins Wout Werghorst as United’s winter signing, both loans.

Liverpool must feel like the entire world is against their success this season

Cody Gakpo is yet to find his feet while Ibrahim Konate has been ruled out for weeks with an injury.

Liverpool couldn’t beef up their ailing midfield and would now rely on youngsters to see the season out whenever senior players are unavailable.

Tottenham must be worried, especially after seeing rivals reinforce aggressively in the just concluded January transfer window.

Pedro Porro joined on an initial loan with a €45m summer fee set to be paid, but with Emerson Royale, Matt Doherty, and Japhet Tanganga in the squad, you wonder if a RB is what they need.

Keylor Navas has joined Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal

It was a no-brainer with PSG boasting five goalkeepers and 36-year-old Navas is certainly the least favorite.

Forest need cover for the injured Dean Henderson and Navas makes sense for them with his experience.

Weston McKennie’s loan move to Leeds United from Juventus makes sense for the Elland Road landlords but doesn’t that leave the Old Lady thin in the middle of the park?

Anthony Gordon joins Newcastle on a permanent basis and we’ll wait to see how Everton copes without their star boy.

The January transfer window is shut and it’s left to be seen how each player fits into the plans of the clubs they sign for.

While it is a great feeling for those that were able to move, one big question we have to ask is where does someone like Moises Caicedo go from here?
