It’s that time of the season where everyone monitors breaking news and player movements, we bring to you the peak of the bunch as team try to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Gareth Bale completes move to LAFC

Despite a very strong push by Cardiff City, Welsh super star Gareth Bale has signed for Los Angeles FC on a one-year deal after the expiration of his contract at Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale won five UEFA Champions League titles with the Los Blancos and three league titles. He fell out with Zinedane Zidane and wasn’t really trusted in Carlo Ancelotti’s second coming. Bale will consider retirement after the expiration of his contract in the US.

Chelsea rival PSG for Skrinier

The departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen always meant that Chelsea would be busy in the transfer market for a new center back and having been linked to Nathan Ake and Jules Kounde in the past, the Blues are now in for Inter’s Milan Skrinier.

The Serbian is a solid rock in Inter Milan’s team but he is open to a move away from San Siro. PSG already agreed terms with him and are always going to match whatever Inter wants but Chelsea are now in the mix and that will change the dynamics.

Arsenal complete Jesus signing, set sights on Lisandro

By the time you’re reading this, Arsenal would have announced the signing of Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City on a five-year deal and the North London side isn’t resting yet; the Gunners are still in for Lisandro Martinez and Raphinha.

Arsenal are in the Europa League and will need a bigger squad than they had last season; squad depth played major roles in the club losing out on UCL last season and will hope to go one better in the incoming season with another strong bid for Martinez.

Botman passes Newcastle medical

Newcastle may have given up on Hugo Ekitike but they have a good news to share as Lille defender Sven Botman passes medical and will be presented as a Newcastle player today.

Newcastle are still in the market for ambitious deals but they can take pride in the Botman deal which follows Nick Pope’s arrival at St. James’s park and news coming from some journos are anything to go by, the Tyneside club could rival Arsenal for Raphinha.

Liverpool, Madrid battle for Bellingham

The duo of Liverpool and Real Madrid may have concluded their midfield transfer hustles this window but both are already looking forward to next year with strong interest in England midfielder Jude Bellingham who currently plays at Borussia Dortmund.

Real Madrid have Casemiro, Luka Modric and Kroos in their twilight days but not to worry, they have signed Tchoumeni and are eyeing Bellingham. Liverpool know they have to wait a year for the English man as a potential replacement to Jordan Henderson and James Milner.
