The January transfer window is wide open and players are being rumored to be on the move, we bring you the peak of the bunch and we update as things happen.

Coutinho to Aston Villa? Yes

As reported yesterday, Aston Villa and Barcelona have agreed terms for the loan signing of Brazilian playmaker Phillippe Coutinho and he will spend the rest of the season at Villa Park.

What does this mean for the premier league club? They have a player that has been there done that but with body language that limited him at Barcelona and Bayern Munich; he’s a statement signing for Steven Gerrard no doubt but how will he fit into his plans?

Newcastle announce Trippier

“I’m delighted to join Newcastle, everyone knows how passionate their fans are and the rich history behind the club, I’m here to give it my all” – Kieran Trippier after completing a £12m move from Atletico Madrid to Newcastle.

Eddie Howe welcomes his first signing and he’s expecting more, the relegation dogfight will be quite interesting now and one can visibly see the intent from the Magpies, Trippier is in and the burning question is who’s next?

Barcelona want Renato Sanches

After sanctioning a move away from the Nou Camp for Phillippe Coutinho, Barcelona are now looking at Lille Midfielder Renato Sanches as the possible replacement.

Arsenal are believed to be interested in the Portuguese who made a strong case for himself at the Euros and helped Lille to the title last season, his fitness is under the spotlight but there’s no argument about what he offers.

Antonio extends with Hammers

His form may have withered of late but West Ham are not taking chances on their striker Michail Antonio as they have handed the Jamaican a fresh three year deal.

The club announced on Friday that Antonio has extended until 2025 and will lead the line while they try to seek back up options, Vlasic is introducing numbers but not yet convincing as they push for Europa success and top four ambitions.

Dusan Vlahovic to Arsenal?

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is on the radar of Arsenal who are desperately shopping for the replacement of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette and the Fiorentina striker fits Mikel Arteta’s profile.

While there’s nothing concrete outside interests, we must make it clear that the player prefers a move to Juventus, and with Alvaro Morata staying, no chance of a new acquisition except he waits till the summer when he’ll have just a year left on his contract and the club wouldn’t want that.
