We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football
Calhanoglu leaves AC Milan for Inter
After an underwhelming Euro 2020 campaign which was terminated effectively at the hands of the Switzerland national team, Turkey playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu has moved from AC Milan on a free transfer to Inter Milan.
It’s not a new thing to see cross-carpeting from the Serie A, with Christian Eriksen uncertain to play again and Inter needing to sell players for them to be able to compete, quality deals on free terms is the way to go and they have snapped up Turkey international on a five year deal
City willing to trade Sterling for Kane
Words on the street had it that Manchester City had a bid rejected for Harry Kane but at first it wasn’t revealed which player was included alongside the quoted figure but ESPN is reporting that the player was Raheem Sterling.
The 3Lions forward on national team duty at the European championship isn’t keen on the move as he sees it as a step down in his career but the Citizens are ready to offload him regardless with their sights firmly on the champions league glory.
Real’s Mbappe chase could help United get Varane
It’s a worst kept secret that Real Madrid badly want to sign Kyllian Mbappe and will pounce at the right opportunity, but what that means is that they might need to offload players to raise money to secure the Frenchman’s signature.
In that regard, another Frenchman could be one of the sacrificial lambs, Raphael Varane is wanted by Manchester United, a long term target but with Sergio Ramos gone, Real Madrid will be wary of options at the back but they will be open to sell if the right bid comes.
Jordi Alba to Inter?
With Ashley Young off their books and with limited funds available to deal, Inter Milan could yet sign another high profile player for cheap, and that player is Barcelona defender and the La Roja captain at the ongoing Euro 2020 championship, Jordi Alba.
The Spaniard is at the tail end of his contract at the Catalan club and with excitement very far from Barcelona at the moment, star players looking to jump ship and uncertainties over Messi’s contract, never say never to Alba’s transfer to Inter.
Ramos to PSG gathers pace
After spending so much and all without the holy grail – the champions league, PSG are ready to turn to proven winner, Sergio Ramos as they hope to secure the elusive medal.
Sergio Ramos left Real Madrid last weekend after a long contract tussle and very much in a bitter state, has told close friends that he will be joining the French side, what that also means is that he will be re-uniting with Angel Di Maria and would finally get to play with Neymar.
How will PSG line up next season? That is left to be seen but with Ramos around, the champions league might just arrive Paris.
