Manchester United are targeting a £50m summer transfer for Wolves star Pedro Neto.
United have made adding a right-winger top of their priorities for the summer transfer window and Neto has been one of the shining stars of the Wolves team, despite their recent struggles, which has moved the Portugal winger up the shortlist of the Manchester club.
Man United had the opportunity of signing the 21-year old winger for a low fee back in 2016 when he was on trial at Carrington from Portuguese side Braga - but he failed to impress back then.
But United are reportedly eyeing Portugal international as an authentic alternative to long-term targets like Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, according to the Sun.
Neto has also been linked to Manchester City, but sources are reporting that Pep Guardiola's side are now at the top of the queue to sign Villa captain Jack Grealish instead.
Sancho on the other hand has his future depends on what Borussia Dortmund decide to do if they receive huge money deals for their most wanted striker Erling Braut Haaland.
Sancho is still a more attractive player for United due to his Champions League and international experience, especially as he will just be turning 21 on Thursday, but United are only willing to pay the right price for his move.
Dortmund rejected a £100m bid for Sancho last summer.
Though the German club will be under pressure to cash in on either of their young stars if they fail to qualify for next year's Champions League but it may not be Sancho.
United are also reported to be keeping tabs on Leeds winger Raphinha and Sporting Lisbon's Pedro Goncalves, 22.
