Manchester city sign Kevin De Bruyne for €80m from Wolfsburg
Another long summer transfer saga appears to have been concluded on Wednesday night, as German news outlet Bild are reporting that Manchester City have agreed to sign Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg for a fee around €80m.
Should the deal come tohappen, De Bruyne will become the most expensive Belgium footballer of all time.
Bild say Man City will pay €80m to begin with, but the add-ons could mean that fee “skyrockets”.
It’s also confirmed that De Bruyne will definitely not be involved in Wolfsburg match against Schalke in the Bundesliga this weekend.
Man City fans will likely be extremely happen the pursuit for De Bruyne is finally over, particularly after the likes of Man United and Bayern Munich were linked to the player in recent days.
The 24-year-old midfielder was the Bundesliga’s player of the year last season after registering 10 goals and incredible 20 assists during the last campaign.
