#GLONPFL: Battle for the top as Enyimba host Sunshine Stars today [Full Matchday 18 fixtures]

It is now the most anticipated game of Match Day 18 in the Glo Premier League and just three points separate the two sides going into Wednesday's clash. The setting for the match is one of the major commercial centres in the southeast - Aba. This season, Enyimba have seen themselves drop points three times in draws to Akwa United (0-0), Giwa FC (0-0) and Abia Warriors (2-2) in the city derby just over a week ago.

On Wednesday, the Peoples Elephant will host one of the toughest sides in the top division and table-topping Sunshine Stars. Enyimba will be wary of the Akure club who have pulled their weight in their recent trips to the southeast to face their other oriental rivals. Sunshine Stars' first trip to the southeast was to Owerri and they based Heartland 3-0 at the Dan Anyiam before they suffered marginal losses of 2-3 and 0-1 at Abia Warriors and Rangers International.
