Arturo Vidal to join Bayern Munich in €40m deal
Di Marzio is the most reliable source for transfer gossip in Italy, and one has to assume the Sky Italia journalist has solid sources for his Vidal to Bayern story.
Breaking down the details, Bayern have officially submitted a €40m bid for Arturo Vidal, but Juventus are looking for €45m.
With only €5m difference, Di Marzio states “the deal could be completed soon”.
Pep Guardiola is looking to replace Bastian Schweinsteiger with the Chilean midfielder.
Vidal played in Germany earlier in his career when Bayer Leverkusen brought him to Europe from South America in 2007.
Michael Reschke, who played a key role in signing Vidal during his time with Leverkusen, is now sporting director with German champions Bayern.
