Emenike has been doing well but he must do more - Amuneke

Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke has told Africanfootball.com that Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike must do more when against France on Monday in a World Cup round of 16 clash.

The African Footballer of the Year also tasked the team to play as a team as individual ideas won't help the team.

"Emenike has been doing well for the team, but he need to be involved more, his personality and potential have to come to the fore, he needs space to operate well, he must find that,” said Amuneke.

“Eagles must play as a team to beat France because individual idea is not enough. If Osaze, Musa, Emenike could be at their best, it will be good for the team."

He also tasked the defenders and strikers to encourage Vincent Enyeama.

"Enyeama has been outstanding for Eagles and inspiration to the team. Defenders and strikers should function well in other to encourage him more," Amuneke concluded.

Emmanuel Emenike who was the highest goal scorer at the 2013 African cup of nations, is performing well with 2 assists to his name but he is still looking for his first goal at the World Cup.
