Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane held crunch talks with skipper Sergio Ramos after their El Clasico defeat to Barcelona on Sunday.

Real fell 3-2, with Gerard Pique grabbing the winner early in the second-half.

Don Balon says Zidane was left unimpressed with Real’s defending, particularly after their thrashing by Manchester City last week.

The Frenchman, after the final whistle, pulled Ramos aside and spoke with his captain for over ten minutes about his performance and where he must improve.

Zidane has big concerns over his defensive options after losing senior pair Danilo (Manchester City) and Pepe (Besiktas) this summer.
