Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played perhaps his final game for Manchester United after the striker was ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.
Ibrahimovic, who joined the club on a one-year deal last summer, suffered a knee injury after landing awkwardly trying to win a header in the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Anderlecht on Thursday.
Scans have revealed that the 35-year-old has sustained an ACL tear in his left leg, ruling him out of the club’s final seven Premier League games, as well as a potential Europa League final in his native Sweden.
