Man City tell Real Madrid to stump up £60m for star striker Aguero

Manchester City slap a sizeable £60million price tag on Real Madrid target Sergio Aguero, according to reports from The Sun.

Aguero has been one of the best strikers in the Premier League over the past few seasons but despite his wonderful goalscoring exploits, the Argentine could see himself drop down as second choice striker at City following the arrival of Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus during the January transfer window.

A player of Aguero’s caliber will surely not be too patient remaining as back-up striker and there has been speculation that the 28-year-old will leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

Spanish giants Real have been mentioned as an interested party in securing the services of Aguero but they will not be able to sign the ex-Atletico Madrid star on the cheap as City are asking for a fee of around £60m.
