Real Madrid midfielder Isco has again become unsettled while in Miami.
With new contract talks remaining suspended, Diario Gol says Isco has been rattled by his treatment for Sunday’s El Clasico defeat to Barcelona.
With Toni Kroos ruled out of the game, Isco was expecting to start. However, coach Zinedine Zidane instead went with Mateo Koavacic, a choice which the midfielder justified with his goalscoring performance.
However, Isco was rocked by the decision – and seeing midfield rival Gareth Bale also handed a start. Adding to Isco’s frustration was he received no explanation from Zidane neither before or after the game.
Isco has spoken to his entourage of his concerns and has made it clear he won’t put up with another season of limited playing opportunities – no matter his success towards the end of last season.
