Man Utd ease past Norwegian outfit Valerenga

Manchester United cruised to a 3-0 victory over Norwegian side Valerenga in Oslo on Sunday.

Goals from Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Scott McTominay were enough to see United past Ronny Deila’s side.

Fellaini made the breakthrough after 44 minutes when he connected on Henrikh Mkhitayran’s cross, with his header taking a deflection as it went past Adam Kwarasey.

Jose Mourinho made nine changes at half-time and soon Lukaku would extend United’s lead.

The Belgian forward headed in from a corner for his third goal of the pre-season.

McTominay wrapped up the win in the 70th minute, turning in the box and finishing with a half-volley into the far corner.

United will now play Sampdoria in Dublin on August 2, then they will travel to Macedonia on August 8 to take on Real Madrid in the European Super Cup.
