Crystal Palace is viewed by Alberto Zaccheroni as an ‘attractive proposition’, according to the Daily Star.

The former AC Milan, Inter and Juventus manager has been out of a job since Chinese Super League club, Beijing Guoan, sacked him.

The Italian has expressed his desire to manage in England, calling the move an “intriguing reality.”

Palace is struggling to find a replacement for Sam Allardyce, who left the helm last month.

Southampton is expected to beat the Eagles to the signature of their preferred choice, ex-Alaves manager Manuel Pellegrino.

The Selhurst Park club also missed out on Marco Silva, who decided to join Watford after leaving Hull City.
