The teenager took a clever touch to open up space and put his side through to the Europa League semi-finals
Marcus Rashford came up big for Manchester United at just the right time.
With Zlatan Imbrahimovic picking up a knee injury at the end of regular time, and United facing extra-time in a Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht, Jose Mourinho’s side needed moment of inspiration from somebody.
In stepped the teenager, who got on the end of Marouane Fellaini’s knock-down, took a clever touch to open up space and slid a shot into the corner to give his side a 2-1 lead in the 107th minute.
