Manchester United fans will be relieved after Marcus Rashford scored the goal to take them through to the next round of the Europa League.

The game was firmly on a knife-edge following two goals in the first half.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave Man United the lead in the first half as the Old Trafford faithful breathed a collective sigh of relief.

It was not to be though, with Anderlecht coming back into the game not long after with a defensive mix up from Man United.

After that, the game was poised for the entire second half as well as the first period of extra time.

Then, just when it was needed most, Marcus Rashford kept his composure in the box to give Man United the all important goal.

It was not over just yet, as Anderlecht nearly got an equaliser with a header but Sergio Romero was there to save the team.

Now, having escaped embarrassment, Manchester United will be looking to go all the way.
