Set for divorce
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi is set to leave the club in the summer with Manchester United said to be interested.
The Frenchman is the anchor in PSG’s midfield and has impressed during his time at the club but could leave in the summer.
It is said that a new deal offered to the player is said to indicate that the club isn’t as fond of keeping him as previously.
Adrien Rabiot is quickly becoming the first name on the team sheet, making it harder for Matuidi to get in the side.
Now, with Blaise’s deal set to run out in 2018, reports state that this summer is likely to bring his departure.
Manchester United are said to be a possible destination with previous interest in the player.
A deal worth around €10m – €15m will be enough to seal a move and friendships with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba could only help.
Imagine getting aurier and matuid for 30 million. Make it happen @ManUtd
