Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are ready to bid around €60m for Inter’s Croatian star Ivan Perisic.
Goal report that the Croatian has a personal ambition to play in the Premier League, and various sources have said that it is “almost certain” that he will be playing in England next season.
Perisic is versatile in attack, and has the ability to play anywhere in the forward line. This season, he has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 30 league games for Inter who are in seventh place in Serie A.
Arsenal have not been at their best this season, and currently sit in sixth place in the league, seven points behind Man City in fourth place. United have also not been at their best, and find themselves in fifth place, four points behind rivals City.
United do have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League through the Europa League though, dispatching Anderlecht after extra time on Thursday night to book a semi-final berth against Celta Vigo.
Arsenal have recently been linked with a move for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, but rumours suggest that Arsene Wenger would rather pursue Perisic. With Alexis Sanchez’s future still uncertain, as he is yet to sign a new contract, the Gunners will want to keep their options open and they see the 28-year-old as a suitable replacement to their Chilean talisman.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund star has scored 16 goals in 55 caps for Croatia, and won the Bundesliga in 2012 with BVB.
