Plateau United 2-0 Shooting Stars
Plateau United continued their dominance at the top of the table with a 2-0 victory over Shooting Stars.
Goals from Emmanuel Odafe and Ibeh Johnson in both half of the encounter saw the Peace Boys ride on to another home victory.

Austine Ogunye’s 71st minute strike ensured Fidelis Ilechukwu’s men keep up pace with league leaders, Plateau United – again winners in their tie against Shooting Stars.
Nigeria Professional Football League top scorer, Stephen Odey had, twice, missed the chance to give the Olukoya Boys a lead when he fluffed his attempt from the penalty spot, and was asked by the referee to retake the spot kick after Remo’s goalie was found wanting.
The 18-goal striker saw his strike comfortably gathered by the goalie.
But that mattered less as Ogunye’s goal 19 minutes before full time had his side pick their first points away from Lagos since the restart of the league.

El Kanemi Warriors 1-0 Akwa United

Gombe United 0-0 Lobi Stars
Lobi Stars were able to share the spoils with Gombe United after playing out a 0-0 at the Pantami Stadium.
The Desert Warriors were unable to navigate their way past the Orton Boys, who would be glad to hold their hosts after a similar result last time out in Makurdi.
The result means Gombe are unshaken from their 19th spot while Lobi are eighth with 47 points from 32 topflight game.
