First summer signing
Manchester United have made their first signing of the summer – and he’s a 16-year-old.
Arnau Puigmal, the star of Espanyol’s Cadete A side, has agreed to a deal to join the Red Devils. Spanish outlet Sport reports that they offered Puigmal a lot of money and that it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Described as a physical central midfielder who’s full of energy, Puigmal was given a development plan showing his anticipated transition to the first-team in the coming years.
United are actually expected to have a 16-year-old in their squad this weekend.

Losing Puigmal is a blow for Espanyol. He’s been at the club since 2010.
