Man Utd Boss Mourinho Impressed by Rashford Growth Spurt With Striker 'Taller and Stronger'

Manchester United v Swansea City - Premier League

Manchester United manager José Mourinho has been impressed with the literal growth of 19-year-old striker Marcus Rashford.

The England international broke into the Manchester United first team out of nowhere in February 2016 and Mourinho has seen the youngster develop a huge amount during his tenure.

Rashford starred for Manchester United in their 5-2 victory over LA Galaxy last week, a game where the centre of attention was new £75m striker Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian international failed to make an immediate impact during their pre-season game, with Manchester-born Rashford taking the plaudits following the 90 minutes.

Speaking about Manchester United’s exciting teenager, as quoted by the SunMourinho said: “Rashford is already taller than when I arrived 13 months ago. He’s three centimetres taller and he put some muscle on.”

Several United fans were also quick to spot the physical change of Rashford as pictures of the 19-year-old we analysed online.

Manchester United are set to face up against Real Salt Lake, their Manchester rivals City and Real Madrid over the course of this week.

The tour of America has been a great opportunity for Victor Lindelöf to bond with his Manchester United teammates and Lukaku, who spent some of the summer with Paul Pogba in Los Angeles, can now bond with his former Premier League rivals.

Who scored these famous last minute goals?

Who scored the winning goal in the 94th minute vs. QPR that won Manchester City the title in 2012?

Who scored Barcelona’s injury-time goal to knock PSG out of this year’s Champions League Quarter Final?

Who scored for the Netherlands in the 89th minute to send Argentina crashing out of the 1998 World Cup?

Who scored the all-important equalizing goal against Greece to send England through to the 2002 FIFA World Cup?

Who scored Real Madrid’s 93rd minute equalising goal against Atletico Madrid in the 2014 Champions League final to send the game into extra time?

You don’t know a thing. Better hit the history books!

Not bad, but you can do better!

Great job! You really know your football history!
