Pulisic rules out move
Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic is one of the brightest talents in world football. The USA international has more 50 appearances for the Bundesliga giants under his belt despite being just 18-years-old.
Naturally, a lot of clubs are interested in signing the midfielder. Liverpool attempted to bring him to Anfield last summer. Dortmund wouldn’t budge. But a day that they receive an offer they can’t refuse is expected.
But Pulisic told PennLive that there’s one club he could never leave Dortmund for: Bayern Munich.
“No, that I could not do,” Pulisic said of going to Bayern Munich. “I can’t say that, but nah.”
Players who have left Dortmund for Bayern
Transfers between Bayern and Dortmund have become increasingly common in recent years with the reigning Bundesliga champions routinely pinching their rivals’ best players.
Mario Gotze, Robert Lewandowski and Mats Hummels have all swapped the yellow jersey of Dortmund for the white and red stripes of Bayern. Gotze eventually came back to Dortmund after finding his first-team chances limited at Bayern. Will Pulisic look back on these comments with regret in the future?
