Ronaldo chats with Ramos
Further news of Cristiano Ronaldo’s desire to leave Real Madrid has broken in Spain tonight.
‘Golazo del Gol’, a show on the channel Gol TV, claims that Ronaldo has spoken to Sergio Ramos about his impending departure after the Spain international checked to confirm that the rumours were true.
The pair spoke over the phone and Ronaldo told Ramos that it was indeed related to the tax allegations.
Jorge Mendes has reportedly told Florentino Perez that Ronaldo wants out.
Perez is set to appear on Onda Cero to talk about the situation on Monday night.
In the running for Ronaldo
Manchester United are the favourites to re-sign their former star. They sold Ronaldo for a then-world record fee of £80 million in 2009. The rest is history with Ronaldo going on to earn a place among football’s all-time greats.
Despite the fact that he’s 32-years-old, Madrid won’t let him go for anything less than a world-record fee.
