Where will Alvaro Morata be playing next season?
As it stands, Alvaro Morata looks like being another huge addition for AC Milan as they re-establish themselves as one of the top sides in Europe.
But, Morata remains a Chelsea target according to a number of major sources.
The Spanish striker was very close to joining Manchester United earlier in the summer transfer window.
But, Manchester United hijacked Chelsea’s move for Romelu Lukaku and the Blues are now being linked with three major strikers.
Morata, Aubameyang & Belotti
Morata remains on the Chelsea radar, along with Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
On Monday, Cadena Ser, a Spanish radio station, confirm that Alvaro Morata wants to leave Real Madrid this summer.
Morata is clear in his understanding that he is not first choice under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.
Even if one of the BBC are unavailable, there is unlikely to be a spot for Morata in the Real Madrid first team.
Since Zidane often plays Isco in midfield, when one of Benzema, Bale and Cristiano are unavailable.
Morata frustrated with Real Madrid
Cadena Ser also reveal that Alvaro Morata is angry with the way he has been treated by Real Madrid.
Whilst Real Madrid accepted a two-year loan and relatively cheap departure for James Rodriguez, they are holding out for 80 million euros for Morata.
Real Madrid are also keen for Morata to join a team they do not necessarily feel could be a key competitor in the Champions League.
As a result, Los Blancos are likely to put up the price if Chelsea do make a move for Morata.
Which brings us back to AC Milan, where Morata would join former Juventus team mate Leonardo Bonucci.
