They want Rico
Chelsea have made a shock move to land Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico according to Marca, and they claim that the Blues have no problem paying the £26 million release clause it will take to land the young stopper.
After seeing Asmir Begovic leave for Bournemouth, the Blues need a back up option, and despite being linked with Willy Caballero, it seems they are keeping their options open and will look to potentially landing Rico this summer.
Sevilla want to keep the highly rated starlet in their side, but of course, when a club like Chelsea come calling it is hard to resist, and should the Blues pay the release clause, Sevilla will have little choice but to let him leave.
Conte future doubts
There are huge doubts over the future of Antonio Conte, who has clashed with the board over transfers, and the future of Diego Costa, who was of course told to leave the club via text message this summer.
Conte also wants the club to move quicker when it comes to bringing in new players – yet the board are standing firm, causing a rift between the club and manager.
